Panel Event: Where’s the Data? Navigating the Data Sharing and Repository Landscape

Join us for a discussion about sharing open and reproducible data in celebration of Love Data Week. Funders and publishers require data to be publicly accessible. As a researcher, it can be challenging to find an appropriate place to share your data and prepare it for long-term access and reuse. Panelists representing astronomy, engineering, veterinary medicine, and human-centered design will present on their research and experiences publishing data in public repositories. The panel will include open discussion of data sharing and reproducibility, data sharing mandates, the role of data curation, and FAIR data and open science.

This year’s Great Backyard Bird Count will be held Feb. 13-16. Participants from around the world will log their findings in eBird, a conservation database created by the Lab of Ornithology. Share your bird counts February 13-16 and be a part of this global event.
