Open Science Framework
The Open Science Framework (OSF) is a free scholarly web tool that enhances transparency, fosters collaboration, and increases the visibility of research outputs, including data and code. A partnership between Cornell University and the Center for Open Science provides a central hub for Cornell research projects.

Sharing qualitative and multi-method data
The Cornell Center for Social Sciences (CCSS) is now an institutional member of the Qualitative Data Repository.
The QDR is a dedicated archive for storing and sharing qualitative and multi-method data, and is hosted by the Center for Qualitative and Multi-Method Inquiry, a unit of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. Our institutional membership supports the curation and preservation of data projects deposited by Cornell faculty, students, and research staff. Cornell Secure File Transfer is a secure method for transferring files smaller than 5 GB, and both Cornell community members and external collaborators can send and receive files. More information can be found at it.cornell.edu/secure-file-transfer.

Data Management Planning Tool (DMPTool) – data management plan templates for various funding agencies.
Select Cornell University or Weill Cornell Medical School from the drop-down menu and log in with your NetID to use the tool.

eCommons for sharing and preserving data
You can use eCommons, Cornell’s digital repository, to make your data available to a wider audience. Furthermore, eCommons satisfies funder and publisher data sharing requirements, which aim to ensure that data resulting from federally funded research is broadly accessible, robustly curated, and preserved over the long term.
